I always considered myself kind of a hard nosed person, both in the military (Marines) and later, in business.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered I’ve been coddling my nine year old son. I was dumbfounded, particularly when I reflect on my own life. I was living on my own at 15 — cooking, doing laundry, cleaning my own place, working, the whole routine.
